Here's what to know about the incoming Meta Quest v47 update!
The latest Meta Quest software update includes brand-new features that take advantage of Meta Quest Pro's new capabilities like the headset's enhanced capabilities. Some of the new updates include:
Background Audio Playback which allows you to listen to music or podcast as you work. You can also load your favorite streaming service in the browser and then jump into a game
Mixed Reality Capture which allows you to capture and share cool moments involving mixed reality on Meta Quest Pro.
For the holiday season coming up, you can make your wishlist on the Meta Quest Store public so your family and friends know what VR games you're hoping to get this year. You can update your wishlist on the Mobile app and you will be able to send your wishlist to others, and guess what! your loved ones can even send you gifts directly from your wishlist.
Meta Quest is also bringing updates to this mobile app! You will be able to see if your friends are online, send them a message, and start playing together. Meta Quest is also adding a widget to your home screen that will show your headset and controller battery life!
One last update for yall! It will now be easier to switch up your avatar's look, whether it's a change of clothes, a haircut, or even an experimental mustache! Check out the new Avatar Mirror in your home environment on Meta Quest 2 and Pro and you will quickly check how you look and make changes!
